Almost back to business in the gallery with new work arriving and the smell of fresh paint filling the air. In some ways it seems wrong, when so many people have suffered illness and loss that we are looking to get back to some sort of normality. It has however been a real pleasure to watch the gallery come alive again and for us to start hanging the new show and re-opening.
The solo show by Victoria Kiff, Synesthesia was on the wall, ready to go and looking stunning when we had to close the gallery so we will have several of Victoria’s works from that show at the heart of this exhibition. Alongside that there will be new works from Graham Dean, Victoria Graimes, David Scott Moore, Kate Burns, Kevin Hendley, Amy Dury, Sam Hewitt, Luke Hannam, Luella Martin and Kirsty Wither. New ceramics too from Ulla Mead and Joanna Osborne as well as work from 2 jewellers new to the gallery; Katrina Alexander and Hilary Brown.
Obviously for the moment there can be no Private Views or gallery events and we will have various measures in place so that anyone who visits the gallery can enjoy the work and feel safe at the same time. We are also still very happy to bring work to customers to try out at home if you would rather.
